The ASAP'SORBER energy absorber is specifically designed for use with the ASAP and ASAP LOCK guided fall arresters. It allows the user to work away from the rope, protecting the rope from potential damage. The energy absorber is housed in a protective sheath that can be opened at the ends to protect the energy absorber from abrasion and allow for periodic inspections. It is available in two lengths (20 cm and 40 cm) to ensure an optimal compromise between distance from the rope and fall height reduction.
